How MedRound uses information.

Information received

Sign in with ChatGPT supplies a site-specific user ID and may supply an email address and display name. MedRound uses the ID to separate accounts and does not receive your ChatGPT password.

The service stores answers and attempts, study progress, bookmarks, exam sessions and saved exam answers, flashcard ratings and review dates, question reports and support submissions. Support messages may include the email address you provide. Legacy account-entitlement records may be retained but are not used to restrict free study tools. Please do not submit patient data.

Purposes and service providers

Account and study records support sign-in, grading, resuming study, access control and support. Limited security counters and operational action records help detect abuse and diagnose failures.

Optional first-party visit and product analytics run only when you enable them in Cookie settings. We do not sell personal information.

The service uses OpenAI Sites for hosting and authentication and Cloudflare-backed database infrastructure. Processing may occur outside your country. The operator must assess applicable processing and transfer arrangements before expanding public availability.

Cookies and this device

Theme, language, avatar and daily-goal preferences are kept on this device. In-progress exam answers are also temporarily kept in this browser tab to help recover from a failed save. Analytics consent is recorded in a cookie. When optional analytics is enabled, a first-party visitor cookie may be created.

Historical device-only study data from earlier versions is retained in browser storage for recovery but is no longer loaded as another account’s progress. Clearing site storage removes device-local data.

Retention and access

Study history is retained to support continued learning until a verified deletion request is completed, subject to necessary security, legal and backup retention. A comprehensive automatic retention schedule has not yet been enabled.

Use Contact to request access, a readable copy, correction or deletion of your data, or to raise an objection or complaint. The administrator may need to verify your identity before acting. Available rights depend on applicable law.

Advertising and changes

No Google advertising or third-party advertising cookies are currently loaded. Before ads are activated, this notice and the consent implementation must explain the relevant collection and sharing, including Google’s use of cookies and other identifiers.

Contact is the current privacy-request channel. Final operator details, lawful bases, transfer safeguards and a documented retention schedule remain owner tasks before public launch. No legal-compliance certification is claimed.
