About the Founder

MedRound was created by Yousif Abdin, MBBS, a graduate of the University of Medical Sciences and Technology (UMST).

MedRound was created to make medical revision more structured, accessible, and practical for medical students. The platform focuses on organized MCQ practice, clear explanations, flashcards, and study tools designed around the medical curriculum.

Educational content may be created, organized, or refined with the assistance of technology, including AI. Automated and editorial checks help identify structural and content issues, but they do not replace independent clinical review.

MedRound is an independent educational project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially endorsed by the University of Medical Sciences and Technology, any hospital, medical council, examination body, or healthcare institution unless explicitly stated otherwise.

MedRound is intended for medical education and exam preparation only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, clinical judgment, or official clinical guidelines.

Learning tools

The Question Bank, explanations, flashcards, Exam Mode, bookmarks, progress and achievements are free. Browse Foundations, Disease & Therapeutics, Clinical Core, Applied Clinical Medicine and Senior Rotations.

Practice, review mistakes, build recall with flashcards and test yourself with an optional exam timer. No payment or subscription is required. Sign in to save your study history.

How the bank is built

The collection includes owner-supplied banks, original questions and AI-assisted educational material. Import checks and software tests do not establish that every clinical statement is correct.

We do not claim that every question has received independent physician review. The editorial policy explains the current review process and its limits.

Corrections and independence

Report an issue beside a question or use Contact to flag an error, outdated recommendation or content-rights concern.

MedRound is an independent educational project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by medical textbook publishers, examination boards, universities or commercial question banks unless explicitly stated.
